Winning Christ may be called many different things:
- Getting saved
- Giving one's life to Christ/Jesus
- Being born again
- Finding Jesus
- Becoming a Christian
- Inviting Jesus into your heart
- Receiving the free gift of salvation
- Coming to Christ
- Receiving/accepting Jesus as your savior
So how exactly does one do this?
I break it down into three steps:

Believe in your heart that God raised the Lord Jesus from the dead, who died for us who were still sinners. (Romans 5:8; Romans 10:9-10) ...learn more

Confess with your mouth that Jesus is the Lord (Romans 10:9-10) ...learn more

Repent of your sins and let the old you be buried and be raised up a new creature in Christ (Acts 2:38; Acts 3:19; 2 Corinthians 5:17) ...learn more
The term "win Christ" is used here to point out that we (the souls) are the ones who win Christ, not Christ that wins us. So we do not say that we "win souls to Christ" as others
often say. The scriptures never say that souls are won to Christ or by Christ. It is the soul who has something to win, and who benefits most from the relationship.
